Poem, "The Race" an original poem, written by my wife and printed on an original photograph that was taken of our grand daughter by her mother. The photograph is titled "Tippy Toes" and is one of our favorites as it was the first time our precious little pumpkin pie eater stood on tip toes!

Through life's first days we freely ran
and man, could we then move!
But fetters came with dragging weight;
our hearts we slowed to soothe

Cast off dead weight and move ahead
a little slower now
as memory of our life's first kick
with caution did endow

The poem goes on from there and is printed on a single page and is suitable for framing. It is provided in the form of an 8X10 print on either slick card stock or glossy photo paper
